A Rural Punk in an Urban Cow Town

There certainly are a lot more cows in Colorado than in New York.

For me, design is the connective thread between all disciplines. It is a dynamic and iterative process that balances creativity and technical skills within defined constraints. By understanding the problem, creatively solving it, leveraging technical proficiency, working within limitations, communicating effectively, and continuously improving through feedback; graphic design is able to produce effective and impactful solutions to complex design problems across a myriad of industries and organizations.

Personal Clothing Tags

For a moment I sold t-shirts on Facebook marketplace. While they were just HTV, they were created using Adobe IIllustrator and InDesign, and produced using Cricut machines. Alongside the shirts I wanted to add my own personality and brand, so I designed some tags. Using gold foil and a translucent overlay, I was looking to add a layer of quality and detail.

Tempest Tidal- Melodic Rock Band

Formed in 2015 after two band mates, Jamvi Edjk & Earl Part-Grey from the group ‘Folly’s Frat Brats’, an experimental psychedelic group with roots in Austin, resolved to try something more eclectic. Edjk hails from Quebec and Part-Grey from the rural post Odessa, TX. With Edjk having a Masters in composition and a trained oboist from CMQQ. Part-Grey is a self-trained DJ and force-trained guitarist, starting out by playing sets for local events whilst his mother forced him to learn the guitarrón. After living and touring with FFB along the East coast the pair changed gears and traded shores, now recording and performing in the Sacramento region.
